Hooray - visiting Boscastle again for first time in three years. Fresh air, great viesws, friendly people and decent beer - can't wait.

Staying at the Welly for the first time as our old hosts sadly are no longer in Boscastle.

Lokking forward to Saturday night in the Cobweb with some decent music and a few beers - not looking forward to the inevitable hangover !

Four Glorious Days In Boscastle

Just returned from four glorious days in Boscastle, so here’s briefly what we did :-



Day 1 (5 April)

Arrived in Padstow at 11:00am after a good drive down from Dorset, as usual very busy in Padstow on Easter Monday and immediately headed for The Basement Café for a well deserved coffee! Hello and Welcome!

Hello and Welcome,

I first visited Boscastle thirty years ago and have been visiting regularly twice a year for the last 15 years.
I fell in love with the place immediately and it has a magic that keeps drawing me back!
I love the walks up the Valency Valley in the Spring amongst the wild garlic, bluebells and daffodils... the tranquility of St Juliot and Minster Churches and the rugged glory of the cliff walks to Tintagel via Rocky Valley and north to Pentargon and Crackington Haven.
I love the Cobweb and Napoleon pubs for their great food, good beer and excellent company and the Riverside and Welly (amongst others) for their excellent accommodation.
Most of all I just love the tranquility of the whole village.
This site was created to share my passion with others through Blogs, Photos, Chat and Videos and to assist others that require help and information on any aspects of Boscastle.
If you share my passion I hope you will find this site useful and if you want information then just ask and I/ we will do our best to oblige.
